01The short version.
You can cancel online at any time, in as few steps as it took to sign up. Cancelling stops the next charge. You keep everything you paid for until the end of that period. We do not refund part of a period, unless the law requires it or one of the cases below applies.
02Free trial.
A new account gets a free trial with a card on file. You are not charged during the trial.
- Cancel before the trial ends and you pay nothing at all.
- Reminder: we email you before the trial turns into a paid plan, at least 3 days before the first charge, with the date and the amount.
- The date the trial ends is always shown in Billing on the web dashboard and under You, Plan and billing in the app.
03How to cancel.
Online, any time, without calling or writing to anyone.
- Web dashboard: Billing, then Cancel plan, then confirm.
- Owner operator phone app: You, Plan and billing, then Cancel plan, then confirm.
- Stripe's billing page (Manage billing) can cancel too.
- Until the period ends you can change your mind with Keep my plan.
04What happens when you cancel.
Your plan keeps working until the end of the period you already paid for (a month, or a year on a yearly plan), then stops. Your card is not charged again. Your records are not deleted when the plan ends; the owner can download a copy (Settings, Security, Export company data) and the Terms explain how long we keep them after an account ends.
05When we do refund.
We refund in full, to the card that paid, when:
- You were charged after you cancelled, or after a free trial you cancelled in time.
- You were charged twice for the same period, or charged an amount that does not match the price shown before checkout.
- We close your account for a reason that is not your fault, or stop offering Upways: you get back the unused part of the period you paid for.
- You object to a new sub-processor under the Data processing addendum and we cannot resolve it: you get back fees prepaid for the remaining period.
- A law where you live gives you a right to a refund or to withdraw from the purchase.
06Changing your plan.
Adding trucks or switching between monthly and yearly is shown with its price before you confirm. Stripe works out the difference for the days left in the period: more trucks adds a charge for those days, fewer trucks gives a credit for them, and either shows on your next invoice. A credit is used against later bills; it is not paid back to the card.
07Prices and taxes.
The price is shown before you pay, next to the button, and in Billing. Taxes are added only where the law requires them, as the box next to the button says. There are no setup fees or other hidden fees. If we change a price, we tell you at least 30 days before it applies to you, and you can cancel before it does.
08How to ask for a refund.
Write to ralpasovsi@gmail.com from the email on your account, with the date and amount of the charge, ideally within 60 days of it (later if the law gives you longer). We answer within 5 business days. An approved refund goes back to the card that paid, usually within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank.
